We record another Hit with School Installation Project

Black Light has worked with Graham Construction and North Lanarkshire Council to install a full package of stage lighting, sound, audio visual and recording studio equipment at the new Coltness High School in Wishaw, North Lanarkshire. This is the first of six similar projects we are involved with and demonstrates our expertise in the education sector and our ability to offer a high quality, specification-compliant proposal at the right price.

We install ‘stunning’ new lights at the Sage Gateshead

We have replaced the house lighting for two auditoriums within the Sage Gateshead, one of the UK’s leading music venues. The project required our team to overcome a number of significant technical challenges and work to a tight deadline and on a restricted budget. To get the job done we used our specialist rigging skills and installed a bespoke LED-based system that provided the flexibility, long life, low running costs and low heat output that the client required.

We Raise the Bar with New Dance School Floor

We have supplied a versatile new dance floor for one of Scotland’s leading independent dance schools. We were commissioned by the Yvonne Gray Dance School to revamp the flooring at its Cupar Studio and chose a Rosco Adagio floor for the job. The project was turned around on time and on budget - now hundreds of young (and not so young) Scottish dancers will be able to enjoy this wonderful new facility.
